Mark’s personal re-interpretations of some of the pieces of music and songs he wrote for “Lear” the Japan Foundation and Theatreworks production for which he was the Music Director.
The inclusion of several additional tracks (including the eponymous “Tattoo”, “In The Wilderness” and “In the Jasmine Gardens”) round out the album into something more than just a repeat of the stage production. It has a life of its own.
Gani Abdul Karim, Tony Hoon, Art Fazil, Pam Oei, Dominic Wan, Reggie Pereira, Mat Noor, Sunny Wong, Yu Jia, Zubir Abdullah, Iqbal Rafiq combined their unique talents with Mark in the recording.
